‘The goal of fantasy is to do the impossible’ is what I said back when I was a little child. And this is true if you want to build wealth and achieve succes, because the way some people become succesful and others don’t, is by creating an idea and turning this idea into real practice. In this article I will talk about the creation of ideas, building a solid plan to execute it and receive some form of reward for it. The concept of writing this article comes from the book ‘Think and Grow Rich’ by Napoleon Hill (1937) that I’ve read, and my personal findings on the subject.
The Goal of Fantasy | Creative Imagination
Everything that we’ve built on our planet through our entire history, has been built by having an idea, and planning and executing on that idea. It begins in our minds, which is why we have to take good care of our minds and make sure they are in an optimal condition when we want to create new ideas. You can develop creative imagination in different ways, but what I’ve found that works best for me is to develop it through exercising, meditating, reading and playing the guitar. It can be totally different for someone else, but you must make sure that your mind is in an optimal condition if you want to create new excellent ideas. Remember that you should not be in a hurry when it comes to developing creative imagination and creating ideas, because good things need a lot of time. You should take any time you need for this and should not be expecting a reward too soon.
Planning and executing
When you have used your creative imagination to develop a concept or an idea, and have created a burning desire for this idea. You can execute this idea by trying to visualize it in great detail and writing your concept down. Like developing creative imagination, this takes a lot of time, but you should also keep in mind to take action once you have validated your idea and avoid procrastination. If you have developed a burning desire for something, like a business, an invention, an idea for a book or any other great idea, you should not wait to take your plan into action, because otherwise it will lose its value.
Persistence
The main reason why so many people never proceed with their idea or plan after starting or their first sign of failure, is because they let the circumstances of life get in the way. This could be criticism from others, fear of losing money or any other fear that crosses their minds. But the people that do keep working on their plans and ideas, after dealing with failure and with the pressure that it brings, will be rewarded the most for their efforts. That is why it is so important to learn how to deal with failure and to not let it stop you from making your ideas into reality.
